LYN WINS THE COUNTY CUP: The 4 qualifiers for the County Cup semi-finals, Lyn Allen, Sheila Fairey, Heather Nolan and Jill Brown had braved rain, winds and a trolley ban in qualification earlier in the year, and then faced almost the same for the finals. Lyn had the better of the all-Bedfordshire semi final while Heather pipped Jill in the 2nd semi.
