Bedfordshire Schools Championships 2010
The 2010 Bedfordshire County Schools Championships were held at Caddington Golf Club in ideal sunny conditions. Fiona Cooper (Sharnbrook Upper) continued her impressive early season form in winning the Girls County title and the Forrester Salver with a gross 76/nett 66, six shots ahead of Sophie Hiller (St Andrews, Bedford) on 82. Young Ella Ofstedahl (Robert Bloomfield Middle, Bedford) came 3rd on 85 winning the Under 16 prize.
Louise Eddy (Vandyke Upper) continued to show further progress winning the Best nett prize with a nett 71 ahead of several other young players who will figure in future Championships.
Both Fiona and Sophie go forward to represent Bedfordshire Schools at the SE Schools Championship at half term which is being held at Eaton GC, Norwich.
