COMPETITORS' NOTICE

 

BEDFORDSHIRE GC By car: 3 miles west of Bedford. Spring Lane is off the A422 Milton Keynes road. See golf club web-site: www.bedfordshiregolf.com for further directions.

SATURDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER - Two rounds Stroke Play. Play commencing at 9.00 am from 1st and 10th tee - see draw sheet

REGISTRATION: Please register at the Reception Table inside the upstairs lounge no later than 30 minutes before 1st & 10th Tee start time.

HANDICAP CERTIFICATES A current CONGU Handicap Certificate should be produced. Please have your handicap ID number if possible.

Juniors under 18 on the day of the Competition are to complete Parental Medical Consent Forms which will be sent to the under 18's. Please bring the completed forms on the day.

Please check your start time and report to the Starter no less than five minutes before your tee time.

Please play without ‘undue delay' and on completion of your round report to the Reception Table where you will double check your card before returning it.

LOCKER ROOM: The ladies' and gents Locker Rooms will be used. No handbag lockers are available.

CATERING: Breakfast baps will be available at the halfway house on the 6th tee. Tea and Coffee will be available in the lounge. Lunchtime Snacks may be pre booked at registration

PLAYERS ARE REQUESTED TO TAKE THEIR MOBILE PHONES ON THE COURSE. Phones should be turned off but may be used in an emergency or to contact the chief referee for a ruling. If, during the Stroke Play, a player is doubtful of her rights or correct procedure during play of a hole, and she is unable to contact the Chief Referee, she may complete the hole with two balls as per Rule of Golf 3-3 (pg 39/40)

PRACTICE ROUND You may have a courtesy practice round. Please contact the pro's shop to arrange, they will have a list of entrants. Tel - 01234 826100

PRACTICE FACILITIES There is a driving range, chipping practice ground, and putting green. The clubhouse and pro shop open at 7.00am.

ACCOMMODATION Bedford is the nearest centre for accommodation

TROLLEY PULLERS There will be no trolley pullers available. There are 2 battery trolleys for hire at the pro shop.

DRESS REGULATIONS Usual Dress Rules apply (no short shorts please).. Competitors must have a change for the Prize Presentations.

PRIZE PRESENTATIONS as soon as possible after the last cards are in.
