22.08.2011: KEEPING THE BALL ON A STRAIGHT LANE - ADRIENNE IS SENIOR CHAMPION

A beautiful day at The Bedfordshire Golf Club saw Adrienne post the best gross score in a tightly fought competition. 05.07.2011: PLAYED 3 WON 2
There is a famous line in a song "2 out of 3 ain't bad" Well, when one of the 2 is the County 2nd Team and the other is Cambs & Hunts, ain't bad doesn't come close. Results of the Seniors matches so far this year are:

Seniors v 2nds: Seniors Won 6/2
Seniors v Cambs & Hunts: Bedfordshire won 3/1
Seniors v Norfolk: Bedfordshire lost 2 1/2 - 1 1/2

Welcome to our new Seniors Captain, Margot Norris

01.01.2011: WELCOME MARGOT
Margot Norris from Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands is the new County Seniors Captain for 2011. After a very successful 2 years at the helm, where the team won more matches than they lost, Sam Turnbull hands over to Margot. Margot is a glutton for punishment; she was Ladies Captain at Aspley Guise in 2009 and has only just finished her year as ex-Officio. You'd think she'd want a rest, wouldn't you! Good Luck Margot.
