Well done county team you did the county proud Must have been a hard week!Well done all J.O.G. girls.
Just a reminder that I shall be stepping down as County Secretary at the AGM. If anyone feels they would like to take over - even if just for a year - please let me or any of the committee know. Maybe a couple of you could think about working together and splitting it by County & EWGA? Just a thought. We hope to hear from you. Thanks Kathy

Cecilia you have done an amazing job with this site and now I'm back in circulation I'll do my best to keep all info I have up to date.
Thanks for your comments Jill. Both girls played amazing golf, and it took something pretty special to separate them. Hope you had a great birthday - you kept the '0' bit quiet :-)
Great Championship report, typically I managed to miss the most exciting final for some years so good to know the ins and outs!

Yikes! Well spotted. All corrected now.
Me again. The rules (unless they have changed) don't look right for the scratch league.
Hi all. Hope you are all well and the golf is good.
Dear Confused. com. In Bedfordshire we have 21 courses, of which only 6 are 'county greens' status. Out of the 8 main events 4 are at 'premier' courses this year.
The Mixed Foursomes course is chosen and booked by the BCGU. Also the Past Captains' Men section choose and book the match against Ladies Past Captains - this year they booked John O Gaunt G.C.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain courtesy at the larger courses and clubs for a day event and at the same time we are made very welcome by the smaller clubs. Their courses are developing and improving all the time.
Why not give them a chance and enter the competitions booked with them. I am sure you will enjoy your day.
Lesley May. BLCGA County Captain.
Love the new website. Having picked up our orange yellow book we were interested to see where all this years county events were to be held. Has anyone else noticed that Aylesbury Vale, Caddington, Millbrook and Colmworth are being used for main county events. So how come 3 out of 4 home Past Captains matches are all at John O'Gaunt?
New site looks good!
